Product Description

Spiral Tower is a compact masterpiece of mechanical design. A motor-driven paddle lift carries marbles up the tower while a helical chute delivers them back to the base, a continuous loop that runs as long as you let it.

Built from 201 laser-cut wooden pieces, the tower assembles without glue using precision-fit joinery. Every gear, every axle, every chute is part of the motion. There is no decoration here, only function. 4 to 5 hours of screen-free flow state, challenging enough to feel earned and quick enough to finish in a single sitting.

The motor and battery case are in the box. Batteries are not included.

Beyond excellence

This is a 201 piece masterpiece from @kenzai_puzzles. The entire tower is so beautifully and thoughtfully designed. A huge appreciation to the design team. It's incredible to see how they designed this entire structure and also the packaging, especially the planning for accommodating all the 201 pieces. Another big applause to the actual implementation. Precision to the peak. Kudos to this innovative startup from Bangalore, India. Definitely planning to buy few more from them and waiting for more puzzles from them.

Thank you so much for your review Jayashree !

Pieces hold without force and the two glue joints were obvious

The precision fit is real, pieces hold without force, and the two joints where a drop of glue is actually needed were obvious enough that I did not have to guess. Worth knowing in advance that glue is part of this, because I had assumed from the marketing that it was a pure friction fit and had to go hunting in a drawer. Smooth run once powered, no complaints.

Three nights of small pieces and then the full track ran

Serious build and I mean that as praise. Three nights, a great many small pieces, and a genuine moment when the balls finally ran the full track without stopping. The sequencing of the instructions is good, you are never asked to hold three things at once. A couple of edges wanted sanding but that is wood. It looks like something that cost considerably more than it did.

Overall good but joints not tight enough

It is good overall with great instructions and details but I would say one thing that when we get all the parts together it kinda always get loose like the joints not tight so i would suggest that you provede with a feviquick not Fevicol so we can join them better

The build is a four and the packaging is a two

The build is a four and the packaging is a two. The sheets arrived slightly bowed and one was pressing against the corner of the box, and I got lucky in that nothing was actually cracked. Other reviews here suggest not everybody does. Stiffen the carton or add a board and you remove a whole category of complaint that has nothing to do with the product itself.

Tolerances are real, this is not a novelty item

Mechanical engineer here, so I went in expecting to be annoyed by the tolerances and I was not. The laser cutting is clean, the kerf is consistent across sheets, and parts seat where the drawing says they will. The ring insertion step needs real patience and a bit of thinking ahead, but that is the entire point of a build at this grade. If you want something that falls together in an hour this is the wrong product.

It was actually really good and challenging but some of the parts like the tower one got damaged i

It was actually really good and challenging but some of the parts like the tower one got damaged i think maybe because they were really fragile due to that the ball is not going up , and also the ball is not covering the full circle due to some reason not sure is it because what we did wrong or maybe due to pieces not sure . Overall amazing experience but can be improved maybe with a problem solver session or something

One diagram where three were needed

Great build, genuinely, and I have taken a star off purely for the instructions. The ring insertion step gets one diagram where it needs three, and I spent forty minutes working out an orientation that a ten second video would have settled. Everything else about the kit is five star, the cutting is clean and nothing broke. A QR code to a short clip at the three hard steps would fix this completely.

I am 58 and I built this alone over a week

I am 58 and I built this alone over the course of a week, half an hour or an hour at a time after dinner. The instructions are perfectly usable as long as you read one step ahead before committing to anything, which is good practice with any kit. Nothing broke and nothing was missing. My grandchildren now think I am some sort of wizard and I am not going to correct them.

Got me through several difficult evenings

I bought this during a bad month and it is slightly embarrassing how much it helped. Having a defined, finite, physical thing to make progress on for an hour each evening got me through several difficult weeks. It sounds dramatic written down and it is nonetheless true. The build itself is well judged, demanding enough to occupy you and not so demanding that a bad day derails it.

Spiral Tower- Kenzai.

It has been a nice experience handling the delicate parts of the puzzle pieces and assembling them together. I appreciate the support offered when I got stuck with a minor issue during assembly. Regarding the material used for the same, there are some difficulties. While dislodging the part from the frame, it peels off sometimes. If it happens at the frame end, no issue. But, if it peels in the assembly part, then it needs an orthopaedic surgery. 😂 ! Overall I had a memorable experience handling it!

Good puzzle, few fragile sections

Overall a very enjoyable build. The tower looks impressive at 201 pieces and the spiral marble descent is the highlight. Two of the thinner curved pieces needed extra care — I'd recommend not rushing those parts. A small bag of spare delicate pieces would be a welcome addition. But the final product is stunning and works perfectly.

Bought two — one for me, one as a gift

First one I built myself and loved it so much I bought another for my brother's birthday. He's a doctor and always stressed — thought this would help him unwind. He finished it in one marathon session and said it was the best break he'd had in months. The spiral mechanism never gets old.

My new stress-buster

Every evening after work, I'd spend an hour on this. Took me 5 days to complete and honestly I was sad when it was over. Now I just crank it and watch the marble spiral down whenever I need to decompress. Something about it is deeply calming. My wife thinks I'm obsessed. She's probably right.

Unique and satisfying

Different from the typical marble run puzzles because of the spiral element. It adds a whole new dimension to the build and the final product. Instructions were mostly clear, though the spiral assembly section needed me to watch a YouTube video for extra guidance. The end result is worth the effort — it's a beautiful desk piece.

Step 14 cost me an hour because of one diagram angle

Beautiful once it is done and the mechanism runs without any fiddling. Step 14 cost me an hour because the part is drawn at an angle where you cannot tell which face is which, and I had it the wrong way round twice before working it out. One extra view in the manual solves it. Everything else was smooth and the finished object is well worth the effort.

Engineering marvel in wooden form

I teach physics at a college and this puzzle is a perfect demonstration of spiral motion and gravity. Built it on my desk at home and now my students ask about it during video calls. The marble descent is smooth and consistent. Brilliant design. Would love to see Kenzai create more educational models.

Beautiful design, needs careful handling

The Spiral Tower looks absolutely gorgeous once completed. The spiral descent is smooth and the marble rolls beautifully. However, the helical track pieces are quite delicate — I had to be very gentle while bending them into shape. One piece had a tiny crack but still held. Take your time with those sections and you'll be fine.

The spiral mechanism is mesmerizing

Watching the marble spiral down the tower after spending 6 hours building it — that moment alone was worth the purchase. The design is elegant and the mechanism works smoothly. My 16-year-old daughter helped with the tricky parts and we both loved the experience. Great quality for the price.
